NZ Book Festival 2017

The NZ Book Festival 2017 is on 11 November and once again BigWords-Books will be there!

The NZ Book Festival is an annual event showcasing New Zealand independently published authors and the businesses and organisations who support the local indie publishing scene.

2017 is the festival’s 4th year and each year it has grown to become one of the top attractions for readers and writers on the Auckland events calendar.

The BigWords-Books stand at the NZ Book Festival 2017

This year BigWords-Books will be showcasing our professional services to authors who want to independently publishing their work to bookstore standards.

Fiona Cole will be there providing free 15 minute author consults for writers looking for guidance in how to edit, design or promote their books.

  • Which font, paper stock, book size is best?
  • Commissioning a professional cover design
  • CiP, ISBN numbers and copyright

What is the Brand You Club?

Brand You Club is a new initiative for indie and self published authors looking for ideas and help with marketing their book, from building up a following on social media and getting connected with online groups for writers, to creating your personal book marketing strategy.
